เครือเจริญโภคภัณฑ์ร่วม แบ่งปันแนวทางปฏิบัติที่ดีในการตรวจสอบสิทธิมนุษยชนอย่างรอบด้านให้แก่ภาคธุรกิจและภาคประชาสังคม

เมื่อวันที่ 13 มิถุนายน 2566 – เครือเจริญโภคภัณฑ์เข้าร่วมการเสวนาในหัวข้อ การตรวจสอบด้านสิทธิมนุษยชนอย่างรอบด้านระดับภูมิภาค จัดขึ้นโดยองค์การ Oxfam ที่โรงแรมสุโกศล กรุงเทพฯ โดยมีตัวแทนของ Oxfam จากภูมิภาคต่างๆ  ภาคธุรกิจในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ และภาครัฐ เข้ารับฟังการเสวนาเกี่ยวกับการตรวจสอบสิทธิมนุษยชนอย่างรอบด้าน (HRDD) โดยคุณปรมินทร วงศ์ไตรรัตน์ ผู้แทนเครือเจริญโภคภัณฑ์ จากสำนักความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศด้านความยั่งยืนและสื่อสารองค์กร ได้กล่าวถึงกระบวนการ HRDD ทั้ง 8 ขั้นตอนของเครือฯ  เพื่อแสดงให้เห็นว่า HRDD สามารถเป็นโอกาสสำหรับภาคธุรกิจในการขับเคลื่อธุรกิจอย่างยั่งยืน  คุณปรมินทร ได้ยกตัวอย่างกระบวนการสรรหาแรงงานอย่างมีจริยธรรมของเครือฯ และระบบตรวจสอบย้อนกลับข้าวโพดเพื่อผลิตเป็นอาหารสัตว์ เพื่อให้เห็นความสำคัญในการใช้ HRDD โดยได้ร่วมแบ่งปันและหารือกับภาคประชาสังคม เช่น Oxfam และธุรกิจอื่นๆ เครือฯ มีเป้าหมายที่จะยกระดับ HRDD ให้เป็นมาตรฐานอุตสาหกรรม

C.P. Group shares human rights due diligence best practices with businesses and civil society

June 13, 2023 – Charoen Pokphand Group took part in Oxfam’s Regional Human Rights Due Diligence Meeting at the Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok. Attending the event were Oxfam representatives from various regions, Southeast Asian businesses, and civil service organizations, who participated in roundtables and panel discussions regarding human rights due diligence (HRDD), its implications, and implementation. C.P. Group’s representative, Ms. Poramintorn Vongtrirat from the Group’s Global Partnership Office for Sustainability and Communications, spoke as a panelist, sharing C.P. Group’s own iterative eight-step HRDD process. To show how HRDD can be an opportunity rather than a burden, Ms. Poramintorn presented the example of C.P. Group’s Ethical Recruitment Program as well as C.P. Food’s Corn Traceability System. By sharing and engaging with CSOs like Oxfam and peer businesses, C.P. Group aims to make HRDD an industry standard.
