การตั้งเป้าหมาย[ทางสภาพภูมอากาศ]เป็นเพียงก้าวแรกบนเส้นทางที่ท้าทายนี้ แต่เราไม่จำเป็นต้องเดินบนเส้นทางนี้เพียงผู้เดียว เราสามารถทำงานร่วมกันกับบริษัท พันธมิตรในห่วงโซ่คุณค่า (value chain) เดียวกัน รวมทั้งรัฐบาล ภาคประชาสังคม และผู้บริโภคเพื่อจำกัดสภาวะโลกร้อนนี้ไว้ให้ได้

Why did you choose to join the Race to Zero?
We fully recognize that the threat of climate change is real, and that our very existence, not just our business growth, depends on all of us taking concrete action towards climate resilience. The Race to Zero provides us with a clear target. We feel that it is important to take this journey.
What are you doing differently as a result of being in the Race to Zero?
Previously, all business units within C.P. Group already had climate targets and mitigation programs. With our commitment to the Race to Zero, we have begun to accelerate our efforts and set more ambitious goals.
Do you have any advice for companies considering joining?
Setting the target is just the first step on this challenging journey, but it is a journey we don’t have to take alone. We can and must work together, companies, partners within their value chain, governments, civil societies, and consumers, to keep global warming under control.
