กรุงเทพฯ 5 ตุลาคม 2566 – ทรู คอร์ปอเรชั่น เดินหน้าภารกิจโครงการ “e-Waste ทิ้งถูกที่ ดีต่อใจ” เพิ่มจุดรับขยะอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ต่อเนื่อง ณ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการกิจการกระจายเสียง กิจการโทรทัศน์ และกิจการโทรคมนาคมแห่งชาติ (กสทช.) ซอยถนนพหลโยธิน 8 (สายลม) นับเป็นโอเปอเรเตอร์รายแรกที่เล็งเห็นว่า กสทช. จะเป็นอีกหนึ่งสถานที่ที่จะเป็นศูนย์กลางของคนใส่ใจด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมที่ต้องการมีส่วนร่วมจัดการขยะอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ จึงพร้อมอำนวยความสะดวกให้ประชาชน เจ้าหน้าที่ และพนักงาน สามารถนำสมาร์ทโฟนเก่า โทรศัพท์มือถือ อุปกรณ์เสริม และอุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ขนาดเล็กที่เลิกใช้งาน มาทิ้งได้แล้ววันนี้ ตอกย้ำความมุ่งมั่นของทรู คอร์ปอเรชั่น ที่ต้องการร่วมลดปริมาณขยะอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ฝังกลบให้เป็นศูนย์ (Zero e-Waste to Landfill) ตามแนวทางเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน (Circular Economy) ภายในปี 2573 หนึ่งใน 14 เป้าหมายความยั่งยืนของทรู ด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม เพื่อสร้างโลกที่ยั่งยืนเพื่อชีวิตที่ดีกว่าไปด้วยกัน
ทั้งนี้ จุดรับขยะอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ ณ สำนักงานกสทช. ถือเป็นจุดใหม่ที่เปิดรับ e-Waste ต่อเนื่องหลังจากที่ทรู-ดีแทค ได้เปิดตัว “โครงการ e-Waste ทิ้งถูกที่ ดีต่อใจ” นำจุดแข็งของทั้งสององค์กรมาร่วมยกระดับให้เกิดการจัดการ e-Waste ขยายจุดรับทิ้งขยะอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ให้ครอบคลุมทั่วประเทศ ทั้งทรูช้อป ทรูสเฟียร์ และศูนย์บริการดีแทค รวม 154 สาขา โดยที่ สำนักงานกสทช. สามารถทิ้งขยะ e-Waste ได้ที่ชั้น 1 ของอาคารหอประชุม อาคาร 2 และ อาคาร 3
Litter e-Waste Appropriately…True Invites All to Drop e-Waste at NBTC
Bangkok October 5, 2023 – True Corporation continues its mission of the “e-Waste TinkTookTee DTorJai” project, adding more e-Waste point at the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), Paholyothin 8 Road (Sailom) as the first operator that recognizes NBTC as one of the main centers for those who are environmental-conscious and want to be part of e-Waste management. This is a new spot to provide convenience for the public, officers and staff to litter their unused smart phones, mobile phones, accessories and micro electronic devices, reflecting True Corporation’s determination to achieve Zero e-Waste to Landfill based on the Circular Economy direction within 2030 as one of True’s 14 sustainability targets in terms of economic, social and environmental dimensions for a sustainable globe and better livelihood together.
The e-Waste point at NBTC is the latest location after True-dtac launched “e-Waste TinkTookTee DTorJai” project, combining the strengths of both organizations to elevate e-Waste management to cover all locations nationwide including 154 branches of True Shop, TrueSphere and dtac shop and recently at NBTC office on the 1st floor of Meeting Hall, Building 2 and Building 3.
